Feel Better, Starting Today
Compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to you.
Welcome to my therapy practise where I offer evidence-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety and overall wellbeing.
In our sessions, we’ll focus on what really matters to you - simplifying techniques, building confidence, and finding tools you can actually use day-to-day. My approach is collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on helping you create long-term changes that feel both realistic and empowering.
I have a breadth of experience in assessing, formulating and helping individuals aged 16+ presenting with a range of common mental health problems:
Generalised Anxiety Disorder
Feeling anxious and on the edge, constant ‘what if’ thoughts and worrying about everything, rumination, checking, reassurance seeking, tension headaches/shoulder pain, sleeping difficulties, heart racing, sweating, feeling panicky often.
Depression
Behaving ‘out of character’, crying more than usual, not doing what you used to enjoy (hobbies, social etc.), avoiding situations and people, thoughts of ‘I will never get better’, ‘what’s the point’, generally feeling hopeless/helpless
Health Anxiety
Constant worry, body checking, symptoms checking, avoidance (doctors, situations where heartrate can increase and therefore fear/anxiety), reassurance seeking (family, GP), heart palpitations, nausea, headaches, dizziness, numbness.
OCD
Having many intrusive thoughts that can feel scary and/or shameful, constant anxiety, checking, ruminating, ‘being caught up in compulsions’
Trauma / PTSD
Feeling on the edge, nightmares, flashbacks, irritability, hypervigilance, being easily frightened, loss of self-’who I used to be’ before the traumatic event happened, loss of positive feelings.
Panic Disorder
Fast heartbeat, shortness of breath, chest pain, shaking, sweating, ‘an overwhelming fear that I am going to die/faint’, feeling dizzy, nausea, constant worry/anxiety, avoiding activities/situations/crowded places etc.
Relationship Problems
Low Self-esteem
Social Anxiety
Avoiding social situations, feeling anxious, ‘overpreparing/rehearsing’ before social situations, avoiding eye contact, being quiet or asking many question to keep the spotlight off oneself, using distractions such as mobile, headphones, looking busy to avoid interactions.
Specific Phobias
Intense dread, catastrophic thinking, fast heartbeat, breathing changes, sweating, dizziness, nausea, active avoidance, safety behaviours-checking, reassurance seeking relying on others to do things.
Work Related Stress
Sleeping difficulties
